Breakaway brass padlock for securing cabinets and other equipment. Designed to be opened with a key, but can be broken away in an emergency.

• Mechanical: Break Strength: This lock has a break strength of approx. 20 in-lbs. This is determined from drop tests where a padlock is placed in a vice so that it overhangs an edge. A weight is then dropped on the lock from a height of 170 mm
